Business and Investment in Africa Programmes

This programme undertaken by the International Institute for Promotion and Prestige was created recently to showcase successful companies and enable foreign investors to play an active role in the economic development of this part of the world which is seeking to gain an international business reputation.

in a ceremony presided over by Mr Félix Houphouet-Boigny (Côte d’Ivoire) in 1983 and Mr Henri Konan Bedié, President of the National Assembly

- Distinction awarded to the Akagera National Park (Rwanda)
in 1984 by Mr Juvenal Haby-Arimana, President of Rwanda

- Mr Mobutu (Zaïre)
1987: distinction awarded to the Bemba Commercial and Industrial company

- His Majesty King Mohamed VI of Morocco
presided over the prize-giving ceremony at the Fez Festival (1999).

- Mr Abdoulaye WADE
(President of Senegal from 2000 to 2012) / for ASECNA awarded in 2002

- Mr Paul Biya
President of Cameroun, awarded the distinction to Mr Jean-Félix Mamalepot, Governor of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) in 2003.

- Mr Bouteflika and Dr Chakib Khelil,
Algerian Energy and Mining Minister, / SONATRACH in 2004

- Mr Blaise Compaore (Burkina Faso)
distinction awarded to the SOFITEX Group in 2005

- Mr Amadou Toumani Toure (Mali)
distinction awarded to the TOMOTA Group in 2006

- In Nouakchott, Mauritania, in 2006,
the Mauritanian Bank for International Commerce received our distinction from His Excellency the Prime Minister Mr Sidi Mohamed Ould Boubacar.
